Welcome to Easy Move Student Storage. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and storage services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Easy Move Student Storage.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Services Description

Easy Move Student Storage provides storage services for college students, including:

  • Pickup of personal belongings from student dormitories or apartments
  • Secure, climate-controlled storage of items
  • Delivery of stored items back to students upon their return
  • Insurance coverage for stored items

Services are subject to availability and geographic limitations. We currently serve students in Southeast Idaho.

3. Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent
  • Be enrolled as a student at a college or university in our service area
  • Provide accurate and complete information when booking services
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract

4. Booking and Payment

Booking Process

  • All bookings must be made in advance through our website, phone, or email
  • You must provide accurate information about items to be stored
  • We reserve the right to refuse service or cancel bookings at our discretion

Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in full before scheduled pickup
  • We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and approved digital payment methods
  • All prices are quoted in US Dollars and are subject to change
  • Prices include pickup, storage, insurance, and delivery unless otherwise stated
  • Late payments may result in additional fees or denial of delivery

Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before scheduled pickup are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee. No refunds will be issued after items have been picked up, except in cases of service failure on our part.

5. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you are responsible for:

  • Properly packing and securing all items before pickup
  • Being present (or having an authorized representative present) during pickup and delivery
  • Providing accurate item descriptions and quantities
  • Ensuring items comply with our prohibited items list
  • Removing all perishable items, hazardous materials, and prohibited items
  • Labeling boxes and large items clearly
  • Notifying us of any changes to contact information or delivery address
  • Inspecting items upon delivery and reporting any issues within 48 hours

6. Prohibited Items

The following items are strictly prohibited from storage:

  • Hazardous materials (flammable, toxic, corrosive substances)
  • Perishable food items
  • Live plants or animals
  • Illegal drugs or contraband
  • Firearms, ammunition, or explosives
  • Stolen property
  • Items that emit odors or fumes
  • Cash, jewelry, or negotiable instruments (except with prior arrangement)

We reserve the right to refuse storage of any item we deem inappropriate or unsafe. Customers are liable for any damage or costs resulting from storing prohibited items.

7. Insurance and Liability

Insurance Coverage

All stored items are covered by our insurance policy during the storage period. Coverage includes protection against damage, loss, or theft while items are in our custody. Insurance coverage begins at pickup and ends at delivery.

Limitation of Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the actual cash value of damaged or lost items, up to the coverage limit stated in your agreement
  • We are not liable for damage resulting from improper packing by customers
  • We are not liable for pre-existing damage to items
  • Claims must be filed within 48 hours of delivery
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (weather, natural disasters, etc.)

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for declaring high-value items (over $500) at the time of booking. Additional insurance may be purchased for items exceeding standard coverage limits.

8. Storage Duration and Access

Storage periods are agreed upon at the time of booking. Standard storage periods include:

  • Summer storage (typically 3-4 months)
  • Winter/Spring break storage (2-8 weeks)
  • Semester or annual storage (custom arrangements)

Access to stored items during the storage period may be arranged for an additional fee with advance notice. We require at least 48 hours' notice for access requests.

Items not retrieved within 30 days of the agreed delivery date may be considered abandoned and disposed of in accordance with applicable law. Additional storage fees may apply for extended storage beyond the agreed period.

9. Delivery and Scheduling

  • Pickup and delivery times are scheduled by mutual agreement
  • We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled time window
  • Customers must be present or provide access during scheduled times
  • Missed appointments may result in rescheduling fees
  • Delivery dates may be changed with reasonable notice (at least 48 hours)
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control
  • Failed delivery attempts due to customer unavailability may incur additional fees

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Easy Move Student Storage or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our website content without our express written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
  • Warranties that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of information

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Easy Move Student Storage, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution Process

In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or our services, the parties agree to:

  • First attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiations
  • If negotiations fail, attempt mediation before pursuing legal action
  • Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Idaho

14. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Breach of these Terms
  • Providing false or misleading information
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Storage of prohibited items
  • Abusive or threatening behavior toward our staff

Upon termination, your right to use our services will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Easy Move Student Storage regarding our services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
